Aim
To enable delegates to effectively manage scaffolding contractors / scaffolding work and to carry out statutory workplace inspections of scaffolds
Objectives
By the end of the training delegates will :-
- Understand the regulations and guidance applicable to scaffolding.
- Know the Company procedures for controlling scaffolding work.
- Be able to carry out a scaffold inspection.
- Know the frequency of inspections required and the reporting system.

Timing
09.00 – 16.00 including break periods.
Delegates
Site managers / supervisors and other staff responsible for managing scaffolding work or for carrying out scaffold inspections.
Tutors
Company Safety Trainers with input from local senior manager and safety manager.

Evaluation
Through a combination of :-
- Delegate input and discussion during the course.
- Practical exercise with review session.
- Test paper at end of course.
- Post course questionnaire.
